Palram introduced the first-ever corrugated polycarbonate sheet in North America back in 1985. The well-known "box-rib" shape is referred to as the greca profile. Now, Palram has redefined the shape of corrugated polycarbonate to maximize performance. It’s called DynaGlas Omega™.

The term Omega refers exclusively to the shape of the panel. All DynaGlas products are available in the Omega profile, although not all are stocked in our warehouses so some types may require large factory special orders.

Though the improvements in performance are modest in many areas, the net gain is significant.

Standard features found in all DynaGlas products:
  • 10-year warranty against loss of light due to yellowing
  • 5-year warranty against breakage due to hail
  • Nearly two decades of proven performance with out a claim for yellowing or loss of light transmission
  • More than 100 million sq. ft. installed worldwide

Feature available for all DynaGlas products (except "SE" products):

  • Exclusive 7-year condensate control warranty
  • 4-foot width or exclusive 6-foot width
Available Types of DynaGlas:
General brand information:

DynaGlas, a registered trademark of Palram, is the brand name for all of Palram's single-layer corrugated polycarbonate glazing panels engineered for commercial greenhouse use. The product was first introduced in North America in 1985. Since then, more than 100 million square feet have been installed worldwide. DynaGlas is manufactured in the USA and in Israel. The two factories are ISO9002 certified and produce many other polycarbonate and PVC products for various industries worldwide.

DynaGlas products are designed and engineered specifically for commercial greenhouse use. Most DynaGlas products are available with several exclusive features including guaranteed condensate control, 6-foot widths, specially formulated pigmentations, textured light-diffusing surfaces, and unique, performance-enhancing shapes.

"Plus" refers to proprietary, guaranteed built-in condensate control:

In general, polycarbonate is inherently susceptible to condensate formation, especially when used to cover totally enclosed environments. DynaGlas Plus is made with an exclusive manufacturing process that results in the industry's only 10-year condensate control warranty. To review what causes condensation and the adverse effects it has on a greenhouse environment, click here.

Because effective condensate control is such a critical need for greenhouse growers, the "Plus" condensate control feature is now built-in to every DynaGlas product, with the exception of "SE" products (see next item in this table).

Intended for use on Greenhouse Sides & Ends (SE):

While DynaGlas SE has all the same quality of DynaGlas Plus, it's built-in condensate control is similar in performance to other competing brands — that is to say that it has very limited condensate control properties (for guaranteed condensate control, use DynaGlas Plus). DynaGlas SE is intended for use on greenhouse sides and ends, or where condensate drip is not considered objectionable.

Clear DynaGlas Plus with a surface texture designed to diffuse light:

DynaGlas Plus LDT (Light Diffusing Texture) offers very high light transmission (90.5%), but it also offers a high level of diffusion, helping to soften the suns rays and minimize shadows. DynaGlas Plus LDT offers growers diffusion that is similar to fiberglass or polyethylene film, but it transmits much more light than either of those options. It's highly recommended for any growing region, especially high light regions.

Technically advanced pigmentation offers 100% diffusion and 85% light transmission:

DynaGlas SolarSoft™ is the first corrugated panel to offer 100% light diffusion while also transmitting 85% of the sun's valuable light. The result is excellent growth, but a dramatically reduced need for shading during hotter periods.

This puts things in a whole new light:

DynaGlas RF is manufactured with polycarbonate resins that are specially engineered to transform portions of the sun's solar energy to make it more useful to plants. Effectively, plants see more usable PAR light inside a greenhouse glazed with DynaGlas Plus RF than outside under direct sunlight. Click here for more detailed information about DynaGlas Plus RF.
