Recovering a glass house with the DrainAway™ Greenhouse Re-Covering System
Illustration showing layout of DrainAway componentsIf your greenhouse is covered polyethylene film, you're probably no stranger to unexpected repairs, not to mention complete re-covering on a regular basis. In fact, even the most technically advanced greenhouse films only last 3 to 4 years on average --- that's assuming that hail or wind doesn't destroy it sooner.

And if light transmission is something you need, you're probably not finding enough of it in your double poly covered greenhouse. Now you can upgrade your greenhouse to a high quality, high light transmitting rigid covering quickly, easily and cost-effectively with the new Palram DrainAway Greenhouse Re-Covering System.

The DrainAway System adds strength and rigidity to your structure while facilitating the easy installation of DynaGlas corrugated polycarbonte. And because DrainAway provides complete condensation collection and drainage, you'll be able to take full advantage of DynaGlas Plus' built-in condensation control.

Check out the installation example below to get an idea of what kind of difference re-covering with DynaGlas can make.

Originally, this greenhouse was covered with poly film. The owner could have simply added square tube or pipe purlins in order to fasten DynaGlas to the structure, but the Palram DrainAway System went beyond that.

DrainAway are components are easier to installed that either pipe or square tube, but more importantly, they're designed to collect and remove condensate as is travels down the inside of the panel. plus, DrainAway components are made of extruded aluminum, so they'll last a lifetime without corroding or rusting.

In the photo at left you can see how the DrainAway components were very simply added to the existing pipe roof bows prior to installation of the DynaGlas.

"Just say no" to No-Drip Pipe StrapsBecause the DrainAway components are simply fastened to the existing roof bows, there is no need for No-Drip accessories such as Pipe Straps or Spacers.

Pipe Straps are difficult and costly to install, plus it makes it very difficult to perform maintenance after installation is"Just say no" to No-Drip Spacers complete because they bend so easily. The same holds true for No-Drip Spacers and No-Drip Angle Iron Straps.

"Just say no" to No-Drip Angle-Iron StrapsWith the Drainaway System, DynaGlas panels are fastened directly to the DrainAWay components, making installation and maintenance much easier.
